Church
Vision
GDIM is dedicated to sharing the love of Christ with others outside the four walls of the church. We strive to answer the call according to Matthew 24:14. “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
Church History
In the summer of 2007, Bro. Alexander was asked to lead monthly bible studies in the Mooretown Garden. In the fall of 2009, he was called to preach the word and preached his first sermon on Dec 20, 2009. In the fall of 2010, God told him to start an outreach ministry. In January 2011, he and his wife founded GDIM, having weekly church service and bible study in a house donated rent free on Midway (God did it) for five years.
In 2016, GDIM moved from the house to a building for church service. As membership grew and with diligent savings in April 2019, God blessed GDIM to buy a church, the church we reside in today at 3146 Midway Avenue. GDIM started as an outreach ministry dedicated to sharing the love of Christ with others outside the four walls of the church. He and his wife along with several other friends and relatives started feeding the homeless in Apr 2011 in downtown Shreveport and continue to feed and provide the word to the homeless every 4th Saturday of the month.

Pastor Alexander shares the word at every opportunity and any location. He especially enjoys preaching to homeless and/or others they don’t attend a church building, at prisons, juvenile detention center and nursing homes. Pastor Alexander stands on God’s Word that we are here to serve and not be served. For we are not saved by good works but for good works.
Our Mission
To continue being the church that mirrors Christ and to preach the Great Commission or the gospel of the Kingdom of God and to disciple the lost by going into the world and baptizing and teaching them to obey His commands and grow spiritually, exactly as Jesus taught.
God Did It Ministries (GDIM) is dedicated to reaching people where they are. We truly believe that once you get Jesus in your heart, mind and soul, that your life will never be the same. We live by the words in Proverbs 3: 5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding and in all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy path.”
My goal as the pastor is to help you grow in every area of your life, we have seminars and workshops designed to help you grow closer to the Lord. It is also my goal to get my members to love God and love thy neighbor, these are two of the greatest commandments.
We aspire to strengthen each person's confidence and joy in Jesus Christ. Another one of my goals is to encourage personal and spiritual growth through prayer, studying the word and actively servicing in our community.
