Nursing Home Ministry

GDIM worships with the NurseCare Nursing Home every 3rd Sunday of the Month at 9:00 am. Chapel services are held and the Word of God is taught to residents who can’t attend church services due to physical impairments.

Finance Board

Money stewards are trustworthy and handled money in a way that is defensible against any accusation according to 2 Corinthians 8:21. Ensuring funds are distributed to various ministries, outreach efforts, members/people in need and keep the pastor inform on the church financially operations. ​

Women's Ministry

Women for Christ (WFC)

Purposed Filled Woman of God guiding young ladies into faithful daughters of Christ, supporting the Pastor and community through Bible studies, homeless feeding, community fellowship and nurturing the church. WFC meet monthly to fellowship and discuss ways to serve others. 

Brotherhood Ministry

The brotherhood has quarterly lunch/learn meetings to grow, strengthen and support all men. We have a handyman ministry within the brotherhood where we do home repairs, yard work, painting for single, elderly, widow women in and outside the church, to whomever is in need.   

Children's/Youth Ministry

The children/youth are taught how to serve/worship boldly through participation in various activities within & outside of church to include praise dancing, poems, plays, singing praise songs, ushering, greeting and assist in monthly homeless  and neighborhood feedings.

In/Out Reach Ministry

Outreach - Organize and coordinate volunteers for assist outside Christian agencies, neighborhood spaghetti Tuesdays, donated food boxes and Resurrection and fall festivals within community. ​ In Reach - Organize church fellowship events, such as church Christmas programs, church picnics, back to school events, resurrection celebrations and movie/game night.

Greeters Ministry

Show the love of Christ and make everyone feel like they are part of our church family when they walk through the door.

Music Ministry

The Music Ministry spreads the Word of God through music (Praise and Worship). The purpose of the Music Ministry is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through songs and encourage believers in their walk with Christ.

Kitchen Ministry

The kitchen ministry plans, purchases, prepares, and serves meals, as well as implements the set up and break down of area(s) of where meals are served. Meals may be served at many events including anniversary, funerals, community fellowship and ministry meetings.

Media Ministry

Operate camera, videos and music within the church. 

Adult Usher Ministry

The usher ministry is the “first representative” of Jesus Christ for a worship service. The ushers are ministers of hospitality and care. They are the gatekeepers of God's sanctuary and the ones who stand at the door as the ambassadors for the church.

Van Ministry

Provide transportation to anyone that needs a ride to church and/or outreach events. 

Children and Youth Ministry Teachers 

Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Ages 5-17. Classes held every 1st -3rd Sunday in separate-aged appropriate classes and taught through structured Sunday school books. Each 4th Sunday of the month is Children/Youth Sunday. We teach the children/youth about who the Trinity is and having a personal relationship which Jesus Christ.

In/Out Reach Ministry Leaders

The In/Out Reach Leaders organize and coordinate various events within and outside of the church to include (VBS, children field trips, resurrection celebrations, church picnics, fellowship dinners, Christmas plays, neighborhood spaghetti nights, donations of food boxes, community spring and fall festivals, volunteers to assist local Christian agencies, etc.
